The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA)

The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is a state corporation established under the Micro and Small Enterprise Act No. 55 of 2012 plans to spark industrial revolution by undertaking policy reforms and implementing targeted programmes and activities in the MSE sector keeping in mind that MSE sector accounts for a very large share of production and income in urban and rural areas and that they have enormous potential to create the much needed employment opportunities for the unemployed population.

Therefore In a bid to access the extent to which MSEA are putting into effect the above plans included in their strategic plan, MSEA contacted Borasoft to carry out a survey on the satisfaction of survey wo mainly comprise of Small and Micro enterprise and businesses. Customer satisfaction ratings have powerful effects as they focus on the importance of fostering excellent and successful customer experience.

In light of the essentiality of a customer satisfaction survey, the very well-equipped researchers at Borasoft did carry out a comprehensive research across the whole country with a sample that is a perfect representation of the whole country, putting into account all the Micro and Small enterprise hubs that are currently registered under MSEA and every other stakeholders. The survey brought to light successes as well problems or changing conditions that influence operations of MSEA on ground, yielding a volume of meaningful results in terms of relevant indices, graphical representations of the levels and extent of customers’ satisfaction.
