ISO 9001:2015 Transition Training
ISO 9001:2008, the world's leading Quality Management Standard, has been revised to ISO 9001:2015 version and published in September 2015. Organizations implementing ISO 9001:2008 will be required to upgrade their management systems to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
To this end, leading consulting firms, Borasoft Limited and Maier Consulting Limited who are registered with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), collaborated with the British Standards Institution (BSI), the world’s leading certification body to offer a 2-day ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Transition Course. The course was held at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) and was grouped into three classes spreading across dates 27th-28th October, 29th-30th October and 2nd-3rd November 2015. Participants were drawn from both public and private institutions and the course aimed at providing guidance to organizations to effectively transit from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 implementations.
The course was intended for any person(s) tasked with implementation of Quality Management System in their organizations including Management Representatives, ISO Champions, Performance Contracting Coordinators and Internal Quality Auditors. The delegates experienced the benefit of early transition training and did not only learn how ISO 9001:2015 is different to ISO 9001:2008, but also discovered proven ways to effectively tackle the transition.
